Toyota 2004 caught on fire?

to the last coulpe guys, look, i hate Toyota with a pion, but seriously, oil sludge. I know some toyotas have had high complaints about this, but at the end of the day the sludge is caused by not changing your oil regularly or using Quaker State sludge in a bottle, the bad Toyota design doesnt help, but its not the main problem. furthermore, if you did throw a rod through the side of the motor and start the fire, trust me you would have heard and felt it. Your problem was more likely a one in a million electrical short that stalled the motor then went up in smoke, or the most common cause of car-b-q, a fuel line broke open, you lost fuel pressure which is what killed the motor, then the leaking fuel ignited once leaked onto the hot engine. You can try to sue toyota, but dont expect too much given that its 6 yrs old and well out of warranty. after a certain point its your car and your responsibility to maintain it and check for potential problems, not Toyota's. It do feel bad for you, i do think its not fair you lost your fairly new car, i do hate Toyota and wish them harm against their reputation, but i just dont see them footing the bill on this one.
