Betta Bits for guppies?

I just got a two male fancy guppies to put in my betta's old bowl. Unfortunately, I forgot to get them food. I know they like baby shrimp brine, which bettas like too, so here's my question: Can I feed them the Betta Bits tonight or am I better off making them wait until I buy guppy flakes tomorrow morning?
