Burning upon urination after gynecologist visit?

I went to the gyn yesterday, and have a bacterial infection. However, even minutes before the l exam, I did not experience any pain during urination. After I came home, I have to say, when I use the bathroom, there is an intense burning sensation that essentially makes me want to cry. They didn't take a urine sample, but I'm concerned it might be a UTI, or maybe a reaction from the lubricant they used. Could it just be pain from the exam? I had an exam before, but it wasn't as painful and didn't last as long as this. The office is closed, I'll try calling tomorrow to ask, but I'm not sure what to do. How long does pain from gyn visits usually last, if that's what this is?
