Why doesnt my front turn signal work anymore after removing my side mirror?

Ok so I took off my factory OEm power side mirror, and notice my front turn signal doesnt work anymore, does anyone know why? I Dont understand why this is so, my power side mirror and my front turn signal doesnt have any connection with each other do they? and how so? is there a fuse in my power mirror or something that is used to power the front turn signal for my car? i have a scion tc
