Just out of curiosity, do male enhancement products really work?

I received an email this morning in which the sender claimed they could add 1 - 3 inches in size to the male anatomy with the use of their product. They also promised an increase in girth. So, do these products actually work, or are we talkin' here about a major waste of money...?
