I found out that there is a child molester near me?

I got curious today and I went to family watch dog and I typed in my address to see if there were any offenders near me and the was only 1 guy. But this guy live next to the road that me and my friend always walk by when we go the the store! It said he had 2 counts of child molestation and I don't know if I want to walk to the store anymore.. Should I? Or not take the chance? He lives right next to the side walk and I remember seeing that house every time I walk to the store.. What should I do? Walk on the opposite side of the road?
